From Mt. Begbie Brewing Company in Revelstoke BC comes their “Bob’s Your Dunkel” a Winter seasonal. The beer pours a deep cloudy copper colour with a light brown head. The aroma is of dark fruit, wheat, earth, malts, yeast and alcohol. The flavour is of dark fruit, chocolate, wheat, yeast, banana, earthy, mild bitterness and some alcohol at the finish. The alcohol content comes in at 8%. I do not run to the Dunkel style to often but I will be back to this one before long!
Commercial Description: Brewed in the Dunkelweisen tradition, this is a rich, unfiltered wheat beer (Weissbier) loaded with chocolate and Munich malts. Sure to warm your winter nights!
